How often should I tune my piano?

We recommend having your piano tuned twice a year. After turning on your air conditioner and your heater. Be sure to give the piano at least a week to acclimate after turning on AC/Heat

Is my piano too old/out of tune to be tuned?

As long as the tuning pins are tight enough, even pianos that haven’t been tuned in decades can be tuned to concert pitch but may require 2-3 tunings before the instrument is stable

How long does it take to tune my piano?

Approximately two hours

Repairs

From broken strings to sticky/nonresponsive keys, we offer complete piano service including action regulation, hammer voicing, lubrication, etc. Any small issues on your piano we should be able to repair in-home.

Restoration

We offer full comprehensive restoration services to bring back any tired old instrument back to life. Restoration services we offer include: complete action rebuild, restringing, pin block duplication, soundboard restoration, bridge repair, ivory restoration/new key tops, and refinishing.

Many of the pianos manufactured during the late 19th/early 20th century were built of exceptional quality. Oftentimes restoring one is significantly less expensive than purchasing a new piano.
